Niagara Culinary Trail...Foodland Ontario and Local Food Plus (LFP)
The Niagara Culinary Trail is working together with Foodland Ontario and Local Food Plus (LFP) to give consumers in Ontario a clearer picture of where your food comes from, how it is produced and where you can buy it. Foodland Ontario tells you it comes from Ontario, Local Food Plus (LFP) is your assurance that the local food you are buying was produced in an environmentally and socially responsible way. The Niagara Culinary Trail tells you how and where to buy, eat and drink local in the Niagara Region.
Niagara Culinary Trail and 126th Henley Regatta 2008
This year's theme for the opening Ceremony's at the 126th Henley Regatta in Port Dalhousie is "Taste Niagara". The Niagara Culinary Trail is honoured to have its members participate in this amazing annual local event. Several members will be offering taste samples of delicious local products that are grown and produced in the Niagara region by Niagara Culinary Trail members including Whitty Farms and Nokara Farms. NCTRail members will also be retailing their items for those that would like to take home a real Taste of Niagara. Visitors will also be able to take home a copy of the, much sought after copy, of the newly released Niagara Culinary Trail Map. We encourage locals and visitors to use this map and wish them many delicious adventures in Niagara's culinary world!

The Niagara Culinary Trail is working together with Buy Local Niagara, a project group of Leadership Niagara. The project focuses on promoting awareness of the need to support our local economy.
